OUR MOST RECENT LITTERS

WELCOME!
Arizona Cornish Rex and Sphynx, and Rambunctious Cattery, is a small hobby cattery located in Tucson, Arizona. We are dedicated exclusively to the exotic, purebred lines of the Cornish Rex and Sphynx cats. All kittens are hand-raised, come from Champions, have five generation pedigrees, and health guarantees. We are TICA and CFA certified.
Long-time breeder and owner of Arizona Cornish Rex and Sphynx, and Rambunctious cattery, Jacque Howell (formally Jacque Thompson), is a life-long animal lover. Along with her Sphynx and Cornish Rex kittens, her farm is also home to several dog breeds, goats, Alpacas, and chickens, to name a few.

With her strong focus on breeding cats with excellent health and temperament, Jacque begins working with her kittens soon after they're born to ensure they are all highly sociable and engaging.

Kittens are hand raised and tended to 24 hours a day by humans along with their natural parents. Before adoption, kittens will have become accustomed to cats outside their immediate family, children, dogs, and the sounds and smells of an active farm household. When it comes time for the kittens to meet their new families, they are well prepared for life with humans, other animals, and the goings on of everyday life.

During the first 8-12 weeks that follow, kittens are observed for their likes, dislikes, energy levels, personalities, and how they interact with other animals, such as dogs. These observations are used to help place the kittens with families that are the most complimentary to their personalities, and vice versa.
Before they can go home, all kittens receive a full, documented, medical evaluation by a certified vet. They are tested for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), micro-chipped, given their first shots, and all the love they can handle.

Jacque and her husband share their entire house with every one of their cats and kittens. The cats have unfettered access to it which means, as Jacque puts it, “It’s also their playground. There's never a dull moment!”
Every kitten is born in Jacque’s bedroom in their own dedicated space. But even though the mother and babies like the set up, Jacque says, "I will occasionally find that a mama cat has given birth right in my bed!"
